On July 10, 2014, just before 10:00 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on a Ford pickup truck on Gregory Drive in Chatham.
Subsequent OPP traffic investigation revealed that the driver’s licence was suspended and that he was driving while disqualified.
As a result, the driver, a 47-year-old, from Wallaceburg, has been charged with the following:
– Driving While Disqualified (x8), under the Criminal Code of Canada
– Driving While Under Suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
He is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on July 18 , 2014, to answer to the charges.
