Clear out the side car. Attach the extra lights on the tractor. Drop the tomato wagons. Prepare your friends to be ready after work. Fred Eaglesmith and the full band will be playing Dresden, at the Old Czech Hall, a one of a kind gem of a place, on Thursday, Sept 25, 2014 at 8 pm. Yes, this is a new show. You are the first to hear about it. We only got the hall on Saturday, and now there is 3.5 weeks to go. Or less. Tickets are now on sale, available in Dresden, and available online at Fred’s online store.

Do you like indepedent music and sharp dressers? This could be your band. Al’s excited. So is Cal. They would be your tag team show promoters. Al put up the Marquis sign already. But he’s having a busy week, what with the wedding and all. Cal put up the canvas banner on Labour Day that he recycled from a show in Elliot Lake. He also put up posters between Delaware and Ridgetown and Dresden at every gas stop there is. Elliot Lake, good hall there, free grease for the bus. But since then, Fred has a new album, Tambourine. His 20th album as an independent musician.

This Fred Eaglesmith show in Chatham-Kent is going to be a lot of fun. The hall has a full wood dance floor. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The licence only allows 150 persons in the hall for this event. Please purchase early.

Dresden is close to McCay’s Corners, Wabash, Rutherford, Florence, Bothwell, Petrolia, Wallaceburg, Ridgetown, Chatham, Highgate, Thamesville, and a beautiful agricultural area. You should be able to buy any number of fresh vegetables on your trip to see Fred, Tiff, Kori, Matty and Justine. The full band. The real deal. In Dresden.

Time to get excited. This is a rare Western Ontario show
