The Wallaceburg Lakers were shut-out on Wednesday night at home in Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League action.
The Essex 73’s came to Wallaceburg and walked away with a 4-0 victory.
The game was scoreless wafter one period, but the 73s prevailed with two goals in the second and another pair in the third period.
Lakers goalie Joel Sowinski made 29 saves in the loss.
Wallaceburg will host Wheatley next Wednesday (Sept. 24.)
Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
