The Dresden Plate Quilt Festival is under way in Dresden.
There will be feature displays at the Trinity Christian Centre and Uncle Tom’s Cabin, complete with:
– Presentations
– Demonstrations
– Draws
There will also be a reception this evening (Friday Oct. 3) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Trinity Christian Centre. There will be quilts on display, along with presentations and refreshments.
Heritage quilts will be displayed from North Buxton Museum’s Permanent Collection, and their history will be told during a LIVE presentation on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
