The Blenheim Blades came to Wallaceburg on Wednesday and topped the Lakers 5-3.
Bronson Bea, Jeff Brown and Brendan Ritchie scored for Wallaceburg, who dropped to 0-5-0-1.
Blenheim defenceman Ben Pataki of Wallaceburg picked up two assists in the win.
The Lakers will host the Dresden Kings next Wednesday, Oct. 8, in another round of the Highway 78 series.
Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
