The days are numbered at the Baldoon Golf Club.
The Sydenham Current reported on Saturday that the final day to golf at the Dufferin Avenue course is Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The Current broke the story back in August that the course had been sold to two potential buyers, and is now pending council approval for a land severance agreement of the property and a by-law amendment to zone the majority of the property as agricultural.
The deal has been delayed due to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority is recommending that an environmental impact study be conducted on the property.
As the days winded down at the course, us at the Sydenham Current wanted to provide our readers with a last look at Baldoon.
And ironically, local photographer Kellie Watson approached us with a solution.
Watson, who is studying photography at the New York Institute of Photography, was snapping photos at the golf tournament at Baldoon for the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame on September, 16.
