Stolen pharmaceuticals seized in Dover drug bust

Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence with the assistance of Community Patrol Branch officers executed a Search Warrant at a residence located on Grand River Line in Dover Twp.

This took place on the yesterday (Oct. 24) during the afternoon.

This was a result of an investigation of pharmaceuticals being stolen from a local pharmacy and then being sold on the street.

A 23-year-old Chatham man and a 21-year-old Chatham female were arrested and facing numerous drug related charges.

The female also faces theft charges.

They were released with a court date of 27 November 2014 at the Chatham Courts.

A total of $11,000.00 worth of fentanyl, $500 worth of lorazepam and $4,500.00 in cash was seized.
