Dean Muharrem, seen in the photo along with United Way’s L’il Red Mascot, announced the start of their 2014 Direct Mail Campaign

“Our 2014 Fundraising Campaign is in full swing and we’re counting on support from all of our current, past and first time contributors to achieve this year’s goal,” Muharrem stated.

Many people choose to donate using the mail.

For this reason we are sending our annual pledge request to previous donors.

We’re sure you can appreciate how much your continued support means to the success of this year’s campaign.

Please participate in 2014 by returning the convenient “L’il Red” envelope.

You will be helping more than 30 agencies, programs and services to support one-in-three residents in Chatham-Kent – 24/7 – 365 days a year.”

For those who prefer to donate online, www.uwock.ca offers a private and secure donation alternative.

Or you can drop into a United Way office, email info@uwock.ca or call to make your own, specific and personal donation arrangements.

“All donations to the 2014 United Way Campaign will help,” Muharrem said. “By now, you may also have heard about our Everyday Hero Campaign. For just one dollar a day, or a minimum gift of $365 annually, you will be celebrated as an Everyday Hero. Together – we can continue meaningful and lasting change in Chatham-Kent. We’d love to hear from you. After all …It’s a great day to change lives!”
