Police cruiser nearly struck by impaired driver

drunk-driving

On Saturday November 1, 2014 two Sarnia officers were parked in a cruiser on Davis Street near Mackenzie Street when they were almost struck by an eastbound vehicle.

The car continued east bound and almost struck another vehicle.

The officers stopped the vehicle on Davis Street at Russell and arrested the 34-year-old Wallaceburg man for impaired driving.

The accused was taken to the Sarnia Police Station to provide breath samples.

The breath samples indicate the man was just over three times the legal limit.

The man was charged and faces a future court date.
