Chatham teen among victims in fatal Glencoe crash

Longwoods Road between Pratt Siding Road and Old Airport Road has been re-opened following a three-vehicle fatal collision.

On November 10, 2014 at approximately 6:41 a.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to the crash on Longwoods Road between Pratt Siding Road and Old Airport Road.

Police have learned that an eastbound Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) crossed the centre line when it collided head-on with a west bound pickup truck.

Both vehicles were then struck by a west bound transport truck. As a result of the collision the lone occupant of the pickup truck, 50 year old Donald Sealy of Wardsville, died at the scene of the crash.

The male driver of the SUV, 17 year old Jacob Suitor of Chatham, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the transport was assessed by paramedics at the scene.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Team attended to assist with the investigation.

Middlesex County OPP believes there may be individuals who witnessed the crash and police are encouraging witnesses to come forward to provide information in relation to the investigation.
