At approximately 5:00 pm the Chatham Kent Police attended on McNaughton Avenue Wallaceburg for a disturbance.
An off duty Chatham Kent Police officer witnessed the disturbance and tracked the accused to his residence where uniformed officers attended and placed the accused under arrest.
Through investigation it was learned that the accused had outstanding warrants on an unrelated matter.
The accused; a 21-year-old Wallaceburg man was transported to police headquarters where he awaits a court appearance charged with assault, mischief, breach of probation and charges related to the outstanding warrant.
