The Subway Peewee team enjoyed back to back wins this past weekend.
Friday night they celebrated Minor Hockey weekend in Wallaceburg with a 5-1 win over the visiting Southkent #2 team.
Although the Southkent team has yet to find a win this season but are coming into their own.
The game was close until Wallaceburg went ahead late in the 2nd and never looked back in the 3rd period adding 3 more making it a 5-1 final.
On Saturday Wallaceburg travelled to Mooretown to face the Black team for the first time this year.
Here we found two solid teams battling back and forth, trading goals until the go ahead goal late in the 2nd period.
Wallaceburg manage to hold off Mooretown especially a barrage of attacks late in the game with the Mooretown net empty.
At the end Wallaceburg celebrated a 3-2 victory which put them in a three-way tie for first!
