An annual event is set to take place in downtown Dresden on Friday night.
The Catherine McVean Chapter IODE are holding their Tree of Tribute lighting service at 7 p.m.
The ceremony will take place at the IODE tree across from Clark’s Hardware store at the corner of Metcalfe Street and St. George Street.
Bulbs can be purchased to be placed on the tree ahead of the event.
They can be placed in honour of someone or in memory of a loved one as well.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Dresden Community Health Foundation.
Hot chocolate and doughnuts will be available at the event.
