A male driver who refused to stop for a Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on December 6, 2014 around 11:30 p.m. has been arrested and charged.
The Lambton OPP officer became involved with the fleeing suspect when the officer attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic incident.
The driver subsequently drove to a residential address in near-by Chatham-Kent where he was arrested after a brief struggle.
The driver, a 22-year-old man from Camden, currently has a Sarnia court date of January 28, 2015 to answer to charges of Flight While Pursued by a Peace Officer and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest.
A Lambton OPP officer received a minor injury during the incident.
