On the 12th of December, shortly before midnight, an officer observed an individual in the area of King Street and Fourth Street in the City of Chatham.
This individual appeared unsteady on his feet and attempted to enter a vehicle.
Once this individual observed the officer in the area, he left the area.
Within five minutes, the officer noticed this vehicle leaving the area, and striking a curb in doing so.
A vehicle stop was conducted and this individual exhibited signs of impairment.
This 47 year old male was arrested for impaired driving, and later released with a future court date.
