Jim Hereygers might have to brush up on his Spanish, after winning a nine day vacation to Madrid, Spain in Community Living Wallaceburg’s 2015 Travel Club Lottery.

The 53-year-old Chatham resident’s ticket was drawn earlier this morning. The trip, valued at $3,500, includes flights, hotel accommodations and tours of Spain’s capital.

“This is amazing. I’m ready for a vacation,” said Hereygers, who received the ticket as a Christmas gift.

The Spanish vacation is one of six trips and twelve $50 cash prizes to be drawn in 2014-2015.

Net proceeds from the Travel Club Lottery will enhance services and supports to over 400 people with intellectual disabilities and their families in Wallaceburg and throughout Chatham-Kent.
