Horse racing is being delayed in Dresden after the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) launched an investigation into the Dresden Agricultural Society.
The ORC is also holding off on handing the Agricultural Society a license to operate the Dresden Raceway in 2015, as they conduct the investigation.
At a membership meeting last night at the Dresden Arena, the board of directors for the Dresden Agricultural Society was also voted out.
A new board of directors is set to be voted in at an annual general meeting for the Agricultural Society on January 28.
