After getting up 4-0 in the first period, it was looking good for the Wallaceburg Lakers to break their months long losing streak.
However, seven unanswered goals by the Amherstburg Admirals ensured that the Lakers streak would hit 19 games.
Cory Lucier, Jacob Theoret, Lucais Meyskens and Brock Daugherty all scored for Wallaceburg, who have not won since October 26 when they topped the same Admirals squad 5-3.
Lakers goalie Soctty Gray made 18 saves in the loss.
The Lakers will host Wheatley on Wednesday, January 14 in their next contest.
