As we mark the 75th Anniversary of the start of the Second World War, Veterans Affairs Canada and M.P. Bev Shipley are presenting commemorative certificates and lapel pins to eighty-five World War II Veterans from across Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.
Special ceremonies are planned as follows:
– January 23rd at the Delaware Legion – 1pm start time
– January 23rd at Prince George Retirement Residence in Lucan – 3:30pm start time
– January 24th at the Wallaceburg Legion – 1pm start time
– January 24th at the Strathroy Legion – 4pm start time
– January 30th at Chartwell Retirement Residence in Parkhill – 3pm start time
