The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a domestic related incident in Wallaceburg.
Last night, the man and woman began arguing after consuming alcohol together. The man assaulted the woman and damaged a door within the residence.
Police were contacted and the man was taken into custody.
The 40-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and mischief under $5,000.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
