Turner: Leila age 91 of Petrolia formerly of Dresden passed away Tuesday February 24, 2015 at Bluewater Health Sarnia.
Born in Oil City daughter of the late Rev. Charles and Pearl (Stephens) Gower.
Leila was a member of North Dresden Baptist Church Dresden, Ladies Aid and Mission Circle.
Predeceased by her husband Hugh Turner in 1988.
Survivied by her daughter-in-law Caroline Goodal (Jerry) of Ridgetown, grandchildren: Cindy and Rick, Candice and Jason, Crystal and Scott, Matthew and Tessa, great grandchildren: Vance, Macey, Jaennessa, Carson, Justin, Brooklyn, Easton and Alexis.
Predceased by son Carl Turner, daughter Cheryl Palanek, sister Beth Kirk and brothers Lyle and Donald Gower.
Visistors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home Friday February 27, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Philip Kazak officiating.
Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
