Update: The man remains in a London hospital, however has been upgraded from serious to stable condition. The incident remains under investigation.
Original update: The Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate a snowmobile collision that occurred yesterday afternoon.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a single snowmobile collision in a farmer’s field on Sloan Road between Finn Line and Morris Line.
The man was travelling eastbound when his snowmobile went airborne.
The 42-year-old Tilbury man sustained life threatening injuries upon landing and was airlifted to the London Health Sciences Centre for medical attention.
The incident remains under investigation.
