Sean Pollock signs with Calgary Roughnecks

After being released by the the Colorado Mammoth on Friday, it didn’t take long for Sean Pollock to find a new home in the NLL.

The Port Lambton native was signed by the Calgary Roughnecks to a one-year contract on Monday, pending National Lacrosse League approval.

“Sean is a proven player in the NLL,” stated Roughnecks general manager Mike Board on the NLL website. “He provides us with scoring, grit and character. He works hard with and without the ball. Our coaching staff has always liked the way he plays the game and we are excited to add him to our roster.”

So far with Colorado this season Pollock has recorded nine goals and 18 assists for 27 points over nine games.

The 12-year NLL veteran has recorded 524 career points (207 goals, 317 assists) along with 250 penalty minutes in 168 games in his career with Colorado and Minnesota.
