A Wallaceburg actor is set to appear in a film, alongside stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James.

Corey Chainey, who recently made his small screen debut on the History Channel’s show: UFOs Declassified, will appear in the movie Pixels.

“It’s not really a role to be honest,” Chainey said. “I did not speak a word while I was there. I was an extra for the day. I played a White House police officer.”

Chainey said the film was shot last summer, not far from the Toronto Zoo.

“It was a long, but fun day,” Chainey said. “Watching Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad all act together was quite funny.”

Chainey said he never got the opportunity to actually meet the stars in the movie, which is set to be released July 24.

“I was quite surprised by how many times they blew there lines,” Chainey said. “But I guess when your doing a comedy, it’s much more laid back.”

Chainey said he appears in one scene in the film, but didn’t want to disclose many details.

“The four protagonists are talking on the White House lawn. I dont really want to give to much away,” he said.

Chainey is included on the list of cast members for the film on the IMDB website.

It labels him as “uncredited” as he won’t appear in the end credits of the film.

“Because there are so many extras in these big films, they can’t list them in the credits, as it would be a half hour long,” he said with a laugh.

Coming up, Chainey said he will be playing the role of a hitch hiker in a local short film, called J.

Filming is slated to begin in late April.
