The walking bridge in Wallaceburg has been closed.
Fencing was installed on Thursday (March 26) on both entrances of the bridge, blocking it off to foot traffic.
The tender for the L.O. Stonehouse Memorial Walk Bridge work was awarded to McLean Taylor Construction Ltd. last month.
A staff report indicates work had been set to begin on the bridge after April 6 and wrap-up by June 26.
