Sydenham Field Naturalists celebrate 30 years

Sydenham Fields Naturalists

Organizers are calling the 30th annual banquet for the Sydenham Field Naturalists a “great success.”

The event was held on Wednesday, April 1 at the Clubhouse at Baldoon in Wallaceburg.

The recipient of the “Friend in Nature” award went to Stephen, Sharon, and Brenda Benishek, who restored 100 acres of wetlands and tall grass prairie in Chatham-Kent.

The guest speaker was Lynn Eves from the Bluewater Centre for Raptor Rehabilitation.
