The Rotary Club of Dresden has announced the return of its Summer Concert Series, with free live music scheduled every Thursday evening at Rotary Park throughout the summer.
The series begins June 18 with a performance by Courtney Wells and continues weekly through Aug. 20, featuring a variety of local and regional acts.
Concerts are held at Rotary Park in Dresden. Organizers say a barbecue will begin at 6 p.m., with concerts starting at 7 p.m.
This year’s lineup includes Courtney Wells on June 18, Milhouse on June 25, Classic Vibe on July 2, Southern Moon Revival on July 9, The Celtic Hillbillies on July 16, Jackie Wills on July 23, Back Pages Music on July 30, La Fiesta Band on Aug. 6, The Kenny and Joel Acoustic Show on Aug. 13 and Ultrasonik on Aug. 20.
Organizers noted that 50/50 tickets will be available at each concert throughout the season, with the winning ticket drawn during the Aug. 20 performance. Tickets purchased earlier in the summer will remain eligible for the final draw.
The annual concert series is presented by the Rotary Club of Dresden with support from sponsors, including the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and Riverview Gaming Centre.
