Wallaceburg Christian School will celebrate its 65th anniversary with a community open house and outdoor activities on Saturday, June 13.
The event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the school in Wallaceburg and is open to the public.
“The open house portion of our 65th Anniversary is Saturday. The games are all FREE! Hotdogs, snacks and dessert will be available. Bring a friend! We are excited to see everyone,” organizers said.
According to promotional material, visitors will be able to take part in lawn games, a bouncy castle, volleyball, basketball and four square. Food and refreshments, including hotdogs, treats and desserts, will also be available for purchase.
An indoor “Walk Down Memory Lane” exhibit is planned as part of the open house, featuring historical displays from the school’s 65-year history.
Organizers say the anniversary event is intended to bring together current students, alumni, families and community members to celebrate the school’s legacy in Wallaceburg.
