HAWGOOD: Alva Pearl age 88 formerly of Dresden, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Fairfield Park Nursing Home, Wallaceburg.
She was born in Camden Twp. daughter of the late William and Margaret (Burnett) Kelley. Alva was a faithful member of Christ Church, Anglican, Dresden. Surviving are two sons: Larry Bear (Catherine) and Ron Bear all of Dresden; two step-children Paul and Wendy. Also surviving are 2 granddaughters: Nancy Pinsonneault and Kim Robinson (John), 6 great grandchildren; brother Norman Kelley (Ann) and sister-in-law Margaret Kelley of Thamesville. Predeceased by her first husband William Bear (1973) and second husband Les Hawgood (1991), sister Beatrice Baverstock (Howard) and brother Leonard Kelley.
Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Maroney officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
