The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo Logo Design Committee is asking Chatham-Kent residents of all ages to help in designing the logo for the Chatham-Kent International Plowing Match and Rural Expo, being held near Pain Court in September 2018.
Rules and entry forms can be obtained at Chatham-Kent Libraries, or online at the “2018 International Plowing Match Chatham-Kent” Facebook page.
Deadline for contest submissions is June 15, 2015 and the logo is to be revealed this September 2015 at the IPM and Rural Expo near Cornwall Ontario.
The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo is an annual 5-day event, held in a different area of Ontario every year, attracting as many as 100,000 attendees.
Chatham-Kent will host the 2018 IPM just outside Pain Court, from September 18-22, 2018.
The event will feature a plowing competition, the Ontario Queen of the Furrow competition, a large tented city area with numerous vendors, displays and entertainment.
