Yesterday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. an 11-year-old boy was attempting to cross Canal Street in Tilbury.
While crossing he was struck by a passing car and suffered a minor head injury.
He was initially taken taken to PGH and then transferred to Windsor Hospital for observations only as he was conscious and alert.

The injured 11-year-old from this collision is doing very well and is expected to be released from the hospital in London later today.
