Daniel John Dunlop formerly of Wallacbeurg

Dan-Dunlop-1432286448Daniel John Dunlop passed away on April 24, 2015 at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 66. Dan, a thirty-six year resident of Edmonton, Alberta, spent his early years in Ontario and was raised in Wallaceburg, Ontario.

He is predeceased by his loving parents, Patrick Dunlop (2014) and Nora Dunlop (nee Casey) (2013). He will be deeply missed by his siblings Paul Dunlop (Katherine Kaszas) of Windsor, Ontario, Mary Dunlop (Robert McTaggart) of Windsor, Ontario and Mark Dunlop (Noriko Taira) of Edmonton, Alberta. He was a wonderful Uncle to Jane, William, Alanna and Elizabeth.

Dan recently retired from 30 years at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Previously, Dan was a graduate of University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario where he received his Law Degree. Prior to moving to Edmonton he practiced law in Windsor, Ontario. Dan will be remembered for his modest wisdom and his loyalty to those who were fortunate to be part of his life.

A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg on Monday, June 10 at 11 AM with visitation starting in the hour prior at 10 a.m.
