Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
A northeast to southwest line of thunderstorms is located west of Detroit and moving east at around 40 km/h and will likely be near the international border by 2 pm EDT. Some of the storms in this line may be capable of producing wind gusts to 90 km/h.
Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Be prepared for severe weather. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Stay indoors when a thunderstorm strikes. There isn’t a place outside that is safe during a thunderstorm. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
Why don’t the deny entry at the border 🙂
