Dog Lovers Days Postponed

UPDATE:

DOG-LOVERS-DAYS-BIG BANNER

“This weekend’s forecast of extensive rain and high winds would not make for a safe event. We are postponing Dog Lovers Days to August 22 & 23.”

Want to have fun with your pooch? Then don’t miss DogLoversDays this weekend (June 27-28) at Tecumseh Park in Chatham. The event will run from 10 am to 5pm both days and will have loads of activities for you and your dog. The family dog is the focus of this event, so bring your couch chewing pup, your drooling monster, your cuddly couch potato and have a ball!

Some of the activities will feature lure courses, agility, a health and wellness centre with free dog healing, a doggie fun zone with a pool and a pamper zone. A dog costume contest will take place downtown at 2pm. Pet And Wildlife’s booth will be home of Chatham-Kent’s Largest Dog Water Dish, a must see!

St. John’s Ambulance will be part of the festivities so don’t miss the opportunity to learn about what makes a great therapy dog, you may just have one at the end of your leash.

DogLoversDays takes place in over 15 areas of Ontario and this is their first year in Chatham-Kent.
