Louis Stanley Boodoonh Johnson, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, died suddenly at his home on Friday, July 03, 2015 at the age of 73.
Louis is the son of the late Stanley Adeas Dodge & Evangeline Fisher. Beloved husband of Colleen. Loving father of Carson Kiyoshk Sr. (Pam), Cam, Autumn (Esau), Shayne, Aimee, and Odjig Johnson. Dear grandfather of Carson “Beega” Kiyoshk Jr. (Megan) and Jesse and Jared Williams and great grandfather of Emma. Brother of Lorraine John, Wayne Fisher (Jen), Garnet Dodge, Jeffrey Thomas (Denise), Ava Hammock (Dave), Leona Isaac (Cecil), Linda Thomas, Ellen Thomas (Sam), Eric Thomas, and the late Josephine Fisher and J.C. Thomas.
A sacred fire has been lit and the family will receive relatives and friends at the family home, 140 Peters Road (off of Snye Road) on Walpole Island. Wake services will be at 7 pm on Saturday July 4th, and Sunday July 5th. Celebration of life ceremony will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 6 at the family home. Cremation to follow.
