Dresden man charged after beer tent assault

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following an incident in Thamesville.

On Saturday, July 4, 2015, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a disturbance at the Thamesville Thrashing Festival.

The disturbance involved patrons from the beer tent where a male had allegedly had been hit in the face with a beer bottle sustaining serious injuries.

On July 6, 2015 a 20-year-old Dresden man turned himself in to the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

He was charged with Aggravated Assault and later released with a court date of August 5, 2015.
