A Wallaceburg actor has landed another opportunity to appear in a big budget Hollywood film.
Corey Chainey will appear in the upcoming 2016 blockbuster, Suicide Squad.
“I just got an e-mail from my agent who was looking for extras,” Chainey said. “We filmed it in Toronto on Friday July 3.

Chainey said he plays a “wounded civilian” in what looks like a “makeshift hospital.
“There are two more well known actors in it, Joel Kinnaman and Scott Eastwood. Adam Beach was also there, but I never had a chance to speak to any of them. It was a busy day. I was there for 14 hours,” he said.
Chainey made his small screen debut earlier this year when he appeared on the History Channel’s show: UFOs Declassified and he also had the opportunity to be an extra alongside stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James in the movie Pixels.
“They’re long days of filming with these big movies,” he said.
“Compared to Pixels, I think you will have a better chance of seeing me on screen (in Suicide Squad.) In Pixels, my back was towards the camera for most of the scene, where as in this film, I’m moved on a stretcher right in front of Kinnaman and Eastwood.”
Chainey said it was a great experience to be on a David Ayer set.
“He is a very well known director, and I’m a big fan of his recent film, Fury.
In some of his other work, Chainey said had has wrapped up filming in a local film called, J.
Chainey said he expects the Florin Marksteiner-directed film to be completed soon.
