$16,000 worth of fentanyl and oxy seized

Yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence in Chatham.

Fentanyl patches and oxycodone tablets with a combined street value of approximately $16,000 were seized.

A quantity of illegal cigarettes, Canadian currency and US currency were also seized.

Dennis Nicolai, 56 years, of Dunn Avenue in Chatham has been charged with two counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking. He was released with conditions pending a future court of August 12, 2015.
