CKPL launches adult summer reading contest

Chatham-Kent Public Library is encouraging adults to unplug and explore new experiences through its summer reading contest.

Beginning June 26, adults aged 16 and older can pick up a bookmark and enter draws for prize packs featuring gift cards from local businesses each time they visit the library and borrow materials.

The contest runs through Aug. 31.

Library officials are also encouraging residents to explore other offerings, including park passes, pickleball kits, puzzles, ukuleles and audiobooks.

Those without a library card are invited to visit a local branch with identification showing their name and address.
