‘Molotov cocktail’ thrown at Wallaceburg home

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers is looking for information about an incident in Wallaceburg, which is their Crime of the Week.

Crime Stoppers officials say on Friday July 31 at approximately 1:40 a.m. members of the Chatham-Kent Police and Fire departments attended a home on Albert Street in Wallaceburg for a fire.

It was quickly discovered that the fire was the result of a Molotov cocktail device that had been thrown at the home causing approximately $500 in damages.

A witness provided a description of two male suspects seen running away from the home and into the South Court area: both were adults, wearing dark hoodies covering their faces and shorts.
