Secondary school teachers reach tentative deal

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO) is pleased to report that a tentative agreement has been reached at the Teacher/Occasional Teacher central bargaining table with the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA).

The tentative agreement must be endorsed by OSSTF/FEESO local leaders before it is presented to all members for ratification.

A meeting of those local leaders will take place later this week.

OSSTF/FEESO, founded in 1919, has 60,000 members across Ontario.

They include public high school teachers, occasional teachers, educational assistants, continuing education teachers and instructors, early childhood educators, psychologists, secretaries, speech-language pathologists, social workers, plant support personnel, university support staff, and many others in education.
