As a result of an investigation by the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), that involved three transport trucks crashing on the 402, a 52 year-old man of Chestnut Mound, Tennessee, has been charged with careless driving.
The man has been listed as being in stable condition and a medical release from hospital will occur in the near future.
The other injured transport truck driver a 32 year-old man of Brampton, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from hospital on the day of the collision.
The OPP are reminding all drivers to be cognizant of the reduced speed signs and stopped traffic warning signs while travelling on the #402 Highway approaching the Bluewater Bridge.
