The investigation is on-going after a crash this morning in Wallaceburg.
Const. Renee Cowell of the Chatham-Kent Police Service said at 10:50 a.m. emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Earl Street near Murray Street in Wallaceburg.
Cowell said a 71-year-old Wallaceburg woman left the roadway and struck a hydro pole.
“She was transported to Sydenham District Hospital for medical attention,” Cowell said.
Total damage has been estimated at $18,000.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
