Robert Shuttleworth of Wallaceburg and formerly of Toronto and Mississauga, died suddenly at the Chatham hospital on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the age of 50.
He is survived by his loving wife Michelle (Sikkema). He will be sadly missed by Dad (Harry) and Mom (Rhea) Sikkema, brothers Dave Sikkema and Glenn Moore (Kathy) and sisters Bernice Roberge (Glen) and Kim Sandford (Jason). Beloved uncle of Matt, Erin, Mark, Kailey, Juliet, Dylan, Ashley and Brandon. Predeceased by his father, Kenneth Shuttleworth.
Rob was born and grew up in Toronto, Ontario. He spent his summers in Bobcaygeon where his lifelong love for fishing and boating began. He met the love of his life, Michelle (“Michie”) in 1993 and they were married on September 6, 2003. In 2012 they moved from Mississauga to Wallaceburg. Rob will be fondly remembered for his love of cooking, classic cars, dogs and reptiles. His larger than life presence, his generosity and hospitality, and his love for family will be missed by all those who loved him.
