A resident of Walpole Island, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the age of 79.
Lindy is the son of the late Alfreda Altiman and the late Gibson Williams. Loved father of Paul, Todd, Chantelle and the late Lesa. Grandfather of Brandon, Joshua, Keticia, Gianna, Devon and the late Misty and Tiffany. Dear brother of Lorrine and the late Frances, Isabelle, Eugene, Jaynes, Johnny and Anita. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2 pm followed by cremation.

So sorry for your loss I have often thought of Lindy when he was at the Bassett 25 years ago we visited him almost daily ,one summer night we left the Bassett after 11pm on our sail boat our daughters and keticia were all heading back to chemitogan camp ground where we had a summer place a huge barge was coming down the river no front lights all of a sudden out of no where Lindy came flying up in his aluminum boat to warn us in the nic of time 10 more mins in would of run right over us and he save our lives I have and never will forget him ,bless you lindy
