Coffee splashing suspect arrested

On December 28, 2014, the man entered police headquarters in an agitated state. While speaking to the officer at the front desk he dumped his coffee splashing her with the hot liquid.

The man yelled obscenities and fled the area.

The next day, officers located the man walking in Chatham.

As the man was placed under arrest for assault police he pulled away and struggled with the officer.

The man was taken into custody and additionally charged with resisting arrest.

The man was held pending a bail hearing however was eventually released with conditions.

On September 29, 2015, the man’s surety revoked from their duties and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Yesterday, the 57-year-old man was arrested in Belleville.

He was transported back to the Chatham-Kent court house pending a bail hearing.
