Jonathan William ‘Jon’ Griffioen of Wallaceburg died suddenly in Windsor on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the age of 20.
Jonathan is the beloved son of Henry and Tonda (Dubuque) Griffioen and grandson of Norma Dubuque and the late Willie and the late Jan & Janny Griffioen. Loved brother of Tara, Derrek and Robert Skyler Griffioen. Dear Uncle J.J. of Aubree. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graduate of the Lambton College MTIM Millwright program, Jon loved soccer, boxing, fishing, bass guitar, Karaoke, playing pool, going for bike rides, working on vehicles with his uncle Dick and playing for the Legion euchre team.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Wallaceburg Christian Reformed Church, 150 Bruinsma Avenue, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday. The funeral will be celebrated at the church on Tuesday, November 24 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
