Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith is back with the Boston Bruins.

In the wake of an injury to Bruins forward David Krejci, Griffith made the trip from Providence to Boston on Tuesday morning.

Griffith has not officially been recalled by the NHL club, however Boston confirmed Griffith was with the team:

Griffith has been lighting it up in the AHL with the Providence Bruins this season.

He is leading the team with 10 goals, 17 assists and 27 points.

He missed the beginning of the season, after injuring his knee in Boston’s preseason opener.

The 22-year-old scored six goals and added four assists in 30 games for Boston last season.

Roster changes are expected to be made by the Bruins later today.

The Bruins host the Ottawa Senators tonight at 7 p.m. in their last game of 2015.
