Colleen Joyce Nahdee, a resident of Walpole Island First Nation, died peacefully at her home on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the age of 56.
Colleen is the daughter of the late Lloyd & Frances (Johnson) Nahdee. Beloved partner of Guy Logan. Loving mother of Daniel (Jessica), Lesley (Colton), Kyle (Melissa), Tyson, David (Cicely), Winston, Seneca (Holly) and the late Harold Kris Nahdee. Dear grandmother of Daniel, Julianna, Mackenzie, Ziya, Jaycene, Mariah, Tayshawn, Austyn, Tyara, Tate, Iyanah, Kylee, Kylissa, Kyrah, Zaagaateg, Ashlarie, Krisenda, Seneca Jr. and Lily. Sister of John (Linda) Johnson, Glenna (Harold Jacobs Jr.), Annette (Michael Williams), Darrel,
Lloyd Jr, David, Norma (John Workman), William, Stacey and Randy Nahdee. Predeceased by a female loving spirit of 3 days and 3 sisters Patricia Day, Brenda Kechego, Adrianna Nahdee and 2 brothers Dale and Michael.
Colleen is a former employee of My Place Café and the Penalty Box.
The family will receive relatives and friends at her home, 475 Altiman Road, on Thursday and Friday. The funeral will be celebrated at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Saturday, January 9 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
