John Petrus Peter Janssens, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at the Public General Campus in Chatham on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the age of 73.
John is the son of the late Leo & Palmyra (Vande Veld) Janssens and the stepson of Olive Lozon (nee Micks). Beloved husband of Grace Eileen (Cooper). Loving father of Rick and Dale (Tammy Lauzon) Janssens. Dear grandfather of Chris (Lindsay), Adam, Brittany, Hailey, Ruth and Beth and great grandfather of Aubrey and Preslie. Brother of Elsie Strain (Fred), Gord Lozon (Lois), Joe Janssens (Heather), Cindy Lozon (Andre) and Jeannie Janssens (Stan). He will be missed by his many nieces & nephews as well as many in-laws.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Knights of Pythias Hall, 225 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2 – 7 PM on Thursday, January 21 with the Memorial Service to begin at 5 PM Thursday.
